getting fit after pregnancy

Have you been feeling overwhelmed by motherhood and all the responsibilities that come along with it?

Do you feel like actually becoming a mom looks completely different than what you expected it to? You’re not alone, and feeling overwhelmed in motherhood is more common than you think.

Listen, you’re not wrong. Motherhood is hard! And I’m here to walk alongside you.

Hope in the Overwhelm

In today’s episode (the 2nd part of my postpartum series, listen to the first episode here), I’m sharing my heart and some of the struggles I faced when I became a mom.

I get it. Between hormonal changes and the mental load of motherhood, it can feel overwhelming. The good news is there’s support available to you right now! You can start connecting with other moms that walk with the Lord, just like you, in the FIT Christian Woman podcast group.

Taking care of yourself is important

You are so busy taking care of everybody else, that it can feel like another chore to take time out and care for yourself. But I want you to feel heard, and set realistic expectations for yourself. Understand that postpartum depression, weight gain, and taking a minute to adjust to motherhood are things many of us go through, and by the grace of God, we can overcome them.
