Sex. This word can evoke a myriad of emotions.
From love and excitement to anxiety, disappointment, and even shame. On one level, it’s just part of our body’s natural needs. But in reality, having a healthy sex life is essential in your marriage.
Many couples find it hard to talk about sex – especially when you’re just starting out but, in this episode, we’ll find out how important communication is when it comes to sex. And as Christian women, we are not exempt from great sex! I don’t know about you, but for me, it’s one area of life that I know I want to be the best it can be.
God and sex
Today, I’m joined by Amanda Ammons who is the host of the Passion Connect Podcast where she talks about intimacy and sex education. She opens up the door to talk about sex with your spouse and breaks the taboos of talking about sex. Her conversations always feel encouraging and inviting and I can’t wait for her to bless you like she has blessed me.
We chat about topics like:
- Turning off our role as moms and connecting with our spouses
- Finding ways to stay connected throughout the day and not limiting intimacy to the bedroom
- That God has made us unique and our sex life can be unique too
Amanda challenges you to really think about sex.
She asks, “what do you know of sex, physically? What do you think of sex mentally? How do you feel about sex emotionally? And what do you believe about sex spiritually?”
If you are intrigued by these topics listed above, listen now (above or on your favorite podcast platform), it’s an episode you won’t want to miss.
